Overview
Hybrid Work Calculator is designed to work without an account or cloud-based calculator storage. The calculator runs in your browser, and saved calculator information remains on the browser and device you use.
Calculator information stored locally
The calculator uses the browser's localStorage feature to autosave relevant state. This may include:
- required office percentage and custom percentage;
- calculation period and selected dates;
- state or territory and school holiday display settings;
- usual working days and preferred office days;
- annual leave ranges;
- manual Office/WFH calendar changes; and
- whether a schedule has been generated.
A version identifier is stored with this information so future calculator updates can handle older saved data safely. This information is not sent to a Hybrid Work Calculator account or cloud storage service.
Clearing saved calculator information
Use the Reset Calculator control to clear saved calculator state and restore the default settings. You can also remove local website data through your browser settings. Clearing browser data, using private browsing or changing browser or device may remove or prevent access to saved settings.
Accounts, cookies and advertising
Hybrid Work Calculator does not require user accounts. At launch, the website does not use advertising, advertising cookies or analytics cookies, and it does not load Google AdSense scripts.
The website may introduce advertising or analytics in the future. This policy will be updated before or when those technologies are introduced, including any relevant information about cookies, consent and third-party processing.
Google Fonts
The website requests the Inter and Manrope font files from Google Fonts. When your browser makes that request, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the requested file. If the fonts do not load, the website uses fallback fonts.
Contact messages
The Contact page displays an email address and provides an optional button that copies it to your device's clipboard. The website does not collect, submit or store a contact message. If you choose to send an email, your email provider and the recipient's email service process the message under their own terms and privacy practices.
Technical request information
As with most websites, the hosting infrastructure may process basic technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, requested page, time, browser details and error information. Hybrid Work Calculator does not use this information to build calculator profiles.
External links
The website may link to external government or information sources. Those websites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website's functionality or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when a material update is published.
